Korea Won The 9th Miss Supranational
Miss Supranational 2017 is the 9th edition held on December 1st, 2017 in Krynica Zdroj, Poland. 65 contestants participated in this edition. Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty from India crowned her successor Jenny Kim from Korea to become the 9th Miss Supranational.
Jenny Kim is the first ever winner from Korea to win Miss Supranational and any major international pageant. Previously, Jenny Kim competed in Miss Universe 2016 and titled as Miss Congeniality and also first runner up Miss World Korea. The first runner up went to Miss Colombia (Tica Martinez), the second runner up was Miss Romania (Bianca Tirsin), Miss Ethiopia (Bitaniya Yosef) titled as the third runner up while Miss Puerto Rico (Larissa Santiago) named as the fourth runner up.
Top 10 finalists were Costa Rica (Nicole Menayo), Philippines (Chanel Olive Thomas), Poland (Paulina Maziarz), Portugal (Priscilla Alves), and Thailand (Gift Jiraprapa Boonnuang).
Top 25 was completed by delegates from Albania (Alessia Coku), Australia (Alecia McCallum), Bolivia (Romina Rocamonje Fuentes), Brazil (Thayna Lima), India (Peden Ongmu Namgyal), Indonesia (Karina Nadila Niab), Italy (Barbara Storoni), Jamaica (Nicole Stoddart), Japan (Yuki Koshikawa), Mexico (Samantha Leyva), Peru (Lesly Reyna), Serbia (Bojana Bojanic), South Sudan (Anyier Deng Youl), Vietnam (Khanh Phuong), and Wales (Rachael Tate).
Best National Costume was Panama and Portugal named as Miss Talent. Indonesia won the online voting on Vodi (Miss Popularity) while Vietnam won the online voting on Facebook (Miss Internet).
