South Africa Take Home The 66th Miss Universe Crown

The 66th Miss Universe pageant was held on November 26th, 2017 in Las Vegas, USA. 92 delegates participated in this edition. Demi Leigh Nel Peters from South Africa take home the crown from Iris Mittenaere of France. Demi Leigh Nel Peters become the second woman from South Africa to win Miss Universe title after winning the event in 1978 by Margaret Gardiner. Demi Leigh will travel around the world alongside Miss Universe Organization for charity event and many other activities for a year. Demi Leigh Nel Peters recently earned her degree in Business Management at North West University after making history at her high school for holding two leadership positions. The first runner up was Colombia (Laura Gonzalez Ospina). Colombia did a great job in 4 years in a row made it into the Final 3. The second runner up went to Jamaica (Davina Bennett). The 66th Miss Universe pageant will be held on November 26th, 2017 at The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The 65th Miss Universe winner, Iris Mittenaere from France, will crown her successor at the end of the event. 92 contestants from all around the world participated in this year's pageant, becoming the highest entry from all Miss Universe edition. India Won Miss World 2017

Miss World 2017 was held on November 18th, 2017 in Sanya, China. 118 contestants from around the world compete for the crown. Stephanie del Valle from Puerto Rico crowned her successor Manushi Chhillar from India. Manushi Chhillar is 20 years old who currently studying in Bachelor's Degree in Medicine and Surgery. Manushi become the 6th women from India who win Miss World title after 17 years. Manushi will travel around the world along with Miss World Organization for charity events for a year. The first Princess was Andrea Meza from Mexico while the 2nd Princess was Stephanie Hill from England. Top 5 finalist were Aurore Kichenin from France and Magline Jeruto from Kenya. Miss International 2017 was held on November 14th, 2017 at Tokyo Dome City Hall, Japan. 71 girls from around the world vying the title. Kylie Verzosa, Miss International 2016, crowned her successor Kevin Lilian from Indonesia as Miss International 2017. Miss Internatioanl 2017 was Kevin Liliana from Indonesia. Kevin Liliana is the first Indonesian woman to get the Miss International title. Kevin is 21 years old and 1st runner up in Puteri Indonesia 2017 pageant. Kevin Liliana will spend a year in Japan along with Miss International Organization for the job. The 1st runner up was Chanelle Wilhelmima from Curacao, the 2nd runner up was Miss Venezuela, Diana Macarena Croce Garcia. Amber Dew from Australia named as 3rd runner up while Miss Japan, Natsuki Tsutsui, titled as 4th runner up. Miss Earth 2017 was held last night at Mall of Asia Arena, Philippines. 86 contestants from all around the world vying for the crown. At the end of event, Miss Earth 2016, Katherine Espin, crown her successor as the Earth Warrior. Karen Ibasco from Philippines crowned as Miss Earth 2017 by the outgoing titleholder Miss Earth 2016, Katherine Espin. Karen Ibasco will be heroine for fighting the climate change with Miss Earth Organization for year. Juliana Franco from Colombia named as Miss Earth Water, Lana Akimova from Russia titled as Miss Earth Fire while Nina Robertson from Australia titled as Miss Earth Air.
