The event took place at Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort & Villas, in Phu Quoc island, Vietnam. 77 women from all around the world vying for the golden crown. The winner alongside Miss Grand International Organization will campaign The Stop The War cause. Peruvian, Maria Jose Lora crowned by the outgoing titleholder Ariska Putri Pertiwi from Indonesia. The 5th Miss Grand International is an entrepreneur from Lima. She is 27 years old and stands 1.8m tall. The first runner up was Miss Venezuela (Tulia Aleman Ferrer), the second runner was Miss Philippines (Elizabeth Durado Clenci), the third runner up went to Miss Puerto Rico (Brenda Azaria Jimenez), and the fourth runner up was Miss Czech Republic (Nikola Uhlirova).
